MacroDash Privacy Policy

The short version

MacroDash is a local-first Chrome extension. Your guides, recordings, captured data, and automations stay on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your own Google Drive. We do not host, sell, or mine your content. Payment, tax, and your license are handled by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) — we never see or store your card details. We run no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising. Your license is for your own use and is limited to a small number of devices; please don't share it.

1.Who we are

MacroDash ("the extension", "we", "us") is a browser extension for capturing step-by-step guides, recording walkthrough videos, collecting data into KPI dashboards, and running browser automations. It is published by CodeWarrior LLC. Questions? Email [email protected].

2.What we collect — and what we don't

Page content / the sites you visit / browsing history	No	The extension reads a page only when you actively capture, record, or run an automation on it, and that data stays on your device / in your Drive. We collect no browsing history and run no tracking or analytics.
Payment card details	No	Collected and stored solely by Lemon Squeezy under their PCI-compliant systems. MacroDash never receives your card number. The purchase is a one-time charge; no card is stored by us.

3.Your license

Your lifetime license is a license key emailed to you by Lemon Squeezy at purchase. You activate it inside the extension; it works on a limited number of devices (2).
The license is for your personal use. Please don't share your key — activations are limited, and a key found to be shared may be disabled.
Moving to a new computer? Open Settings → Account → Release this device on the old one first (this frees a slot), then activate on the new one with the same key. If you run out of activations, email us with your purchase receipt and we'll reset it for you.

4.Google account & Google Drive

Sync and sign-in are optional. If you use them, MacroDash requests these Google permissions:

openid, email, profile — to sign you in and show which Google account your synced backup belongs to.
drive.appdata — access to a private application-data folder in your Google Drive that only MacroDash can see. We use it exclusively to back up and restore your MacroDash content. We cannot see the rest of your Drive.

MacroDash's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the features described above. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never transferred to others except as needed to provide the sync feature you requested.

5.Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects and stores your payment information and email under its own privacy policy, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax / VAT / GST on our behalf. We never receive your card details. It is a single one-time charge; no card is kept on file by us.

6.Who your data is shared with

We do not sell your data. Limited data is processed only by the service providers that make the product work:

7.Data retention

Your order and email are retained by Lemon Squeezy per their policy. The activation log we keep holds only the most recent activations per key and can be deleted on request.
Your content lives on your device and in your Drive; you control it. Uninstalling the extension removes its local data; deleting the Drive app folder removes the synced copy.

8.Security

Sensitive information is protected in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and by the security of the providers above (Lemon Squeezy for payments, Google for Drive). Because we deliberately store almost nothing, there is very little about you on our systems to expose.

9.Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the email we hold, and you can revoke Google access at any time from your Google account permissions. Contact [email protected].

10.Children

MacroDash is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11.Changes

If this policy changes we will update the "Last updated" date below and, for material changes, note it in the extension. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
